Lag for break (n./v.) –
(n.) – This is a procedure where each player attempts to shoot a cue ball from behind the head string, having it bounce off the bottom cushion, and returning as close to the top cushion as possible. The winner, and person to break, is the one who stopped their ball closest to the rail. (v.) – When a player attempts to shoot a cue ball from behind the head string, having it bounce off the bottom cushion, and return as close to the top cushion as possible.
