Jump shot (n.) –
This is a particular shot where the cue ball is stuck so it jumps one object ball before it contacts the next. You can achieve a jump two different ways, by striking down on the cue ball hard, or by striking from underneath up on the cue ball hard, the second option offers you less control.

I have rarely seen such a well executed jump shot…I am impressed.
