Foot spot (n.)
This imaginary spot is at the center bottom of the table. To find this spot, you can connect the line from the middle of the small sides of the table with the second diamond from the bottom of the long end of the table. This is where the apex of the triangle is placed in many billiards games.

Hey, just pull that ball out and put it at the foot spot.
