Flat draw (n.)
This technique doesn’t strike the ball as low as a draw shot , but still strikes below center in an attempt to alter the deflection of the cue ball after contacting the object ball of choice in a more reverse fashion.

I used a flat draw to bring the cue ball off of the object ball at a better angle for my next shot
