Duck (n.)
1. (n.) – A ball that is resting on the edge of a pocket, and would be a very easy shot to pocket. This is much like a "sitting duck."
2. (v.) – This can also mean to make a defensive shot or a "safety."

1. You should hit that duck in at the far end of the table.
2. If it were up to me I would duck out of this turn.
